After graduating from Shenandoah High School in Sarahsville, Ohio in 1995, Amanda attended Washington State Community College where she studied early childhood development with a focus on special needs children with autism. She began pursuing a career as a dental assistant in 2004 after Dr. Jeff offered her a job while she was his patient. In 2009 Amanda broadened her credentials with an Expanded Function Dental Assistant degree from Jefferson Community College. Amanda has a great passion for her work and takes immense pleasure in providing the Smile Shack’s patients with happy, healthy smiles. The bubbly, caring mother of three wonderful children, Austin, Hope, and Faith enjoys spending her spare time coaching little league basketball, camping, watching OSU football, and hanging out with her children.

Born in Zanesville, Ohio, and a 2009 graduate of West Muskingum High School, Megan began working for Dr. Jeff in October of 2009, after completing the Dental Assisting program at the Buffalo campus of the Mid-East Ohio Career and Technology Center in Senecaville, Ohio. At first shy and reserved when meeting someone new, Megan warms up quickly and is very outgoing. In her spare time she loves being with family and friends, but takes special pleasure in watching her dad participate in dirt track racing. She admires music of all kinds, especially 80’s metal rockers, like Metallica, and enjoys playing softball, riding four-wheelers, and deer hunting.

Rachel is a 1998 graduate of Tri-Valley High school in Dresden, Ohio. She graduated from Penn Foster Career School in 2004 as a nationally certified dental assistant. Previously, Rachel assisted Dr. Jeff from 2003-2008. After living in Illinois for a little more than a year, she returned to Ohio and the Smile Shack in March 2010. She is the mother of three amazing children that keep her very busy. When time allows, she likes to visit with friends and family, as well as play golf, go skiing and occasionally read a good book.
